James is a Co-founder and CEO of High Tor. He spent 35 years in the British Army before concentrating in 2018 on emerging technology, advising companies such as Entrepreneur First, Palantir and Mind Foundry. He has strong links with Sweden, centred on Anglo-Swedish innovation and investment. He is passionate about the role technology plays in defending our values and is a co-founder of MissionLink UK, a network to connect the country’s leading technology founders with the defence and security communities.

Hugo is a Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of High Tor. With 25 years of experience working within finance, strategy and nearly a decade in the British Army. He uses that experience to identify and invest in promising startups, cultivate long-term relationships, and support and champion portfolio companies as they grow.
